Thank you for choosing P3D Factory. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and P3D Factory Inc. ("We," "Us," or "Our"). By using our services, uploading files, or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

A. Definitions

Summary: "Service" refers to our 3D printing and manufacturing operations. "Content" refers to the 3D files (STL, 3MF) you upload.

1. "Service" means the 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and additive manufacturing services provided by P3D Factory.

2. "Order" means a confirmed request for Services, initiated by a Quote and finalized with Payment.

B. General Terms

We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion. This specifically applies to files that may be illegal, offensive, or violate intellectual property rights. You represent and warrant that you have the full legal right to use, copy, and distribute any file uploaded to our Service.

C. Orders & Quotes

Quotes generated automatically by our system ("Instant Quotes") are estimates based on volume analysis. We reserve the right to amend a quote if manual review reveals issues such as non-manifold geometry, thin walls, or specific material requirements that were not accurately captured by the instant analysis.

D. Payments & Billing

Full payment is required before production begins for standard orders. For Enterprise or Net-30 clients, specific terms apply as agreed upon in writing. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store credit card details on our servers.

E. Shipping & Delivery

Lead times (e.g., "5-7 business days") are estimates and not guarantees. Production starts the next business day after payment is confirmed. Shipping times quoted at checkout are provided by the carrier (UPS/FedEx) and are in addition to production lead times.

F. Returns & Refunds

Important: Custom manufactured parts cannot be returned.

Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, we cannot accept returns for "change of mind." If parts arrive damaged or do not meet the confirmed specifications (e.g., wrong material, significant dimensional error beyond tolerance), we will reprint the parts free of charge. Claims must be made within 5 days of delivery.

G. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your designs. By uploading a file, you grant P3D Factory a limited, non-exclusive license solely to prepare, manufacture, and ship your parts. We delete client files from our active production servers 30 days after order completion, unless a User Dashbord account is maintained for project history.

H. Liability & Warranty

Parts are provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. 3D printed parts (FDM) have inherent anisotropic properties and may not be suitable for safety-critical applications. P3D Factory's liability is strictly limited to the cost of the order.

I. Custom Parts Disclaimer

FDM 3D printing involves layer lines and minor surface imperfections. Dimensional tolerance is typically +/- 0.5% or +/- 0.5mm (whichever is greater) for standard materials.
